Morphology is the study of morphemes and their arrangement in forming words.
Morphology is the study of these meaning- bearing units and the rules governing them, the study of the structure of word.
To convey meaning, sounds are combined into words. But in fact, words are not smallest unit of meaning. Many words are made of smallest unit of meaning, and these units are combined in particular way forming words.
